Exercise

Doing exercise increases your heart rate and makes you breathe harder. Having regular controlled exercise reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure. Exercise can help you stay healthy in many ways:

Types of Exercise

Push-ups

Push-ups is a form of exercise that increases the upper body strength. Push-ups are fast and effective exercises for building strength. Some of the benefits of push-ups include:

Squats

Squats is an exercise that stretches the glutes ( the muscles behind your thighs). Squat position is achieved by keeping your both hand behind your head and bending down such that your thighs are parallel to the ground. Squats are very helpful in building your leg muscles including quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves. Some of the best benefits of squats include:

Pull-ups

Pull-ups strengthen the back muscles namely Latissimus dorsi, Trapezius, Thoracic erector spinae, Infraspinatus. Pull-ups includes hanging on a bar using your hands then lifting your whole body by pulling onto the bar with your legs behind your back as shown in the image above. Pull-ups mainly stretches the upper body. Some the benefits of pull-ups include:

Balanced diet is somethings that contains all the nutrients in proper proportions so that body can function properly. Balanced diet is required to increase the fitness of the body and provide proper nutrition to your organs so it can work effectively. Body Mass Index

Body mass index is also known as BMI in short form. Body mass index shows how fit our body is using a formula. It is calculated by dividing the body mass by square of your height in meters hence, it’s unit is Kg/m2. The higher the body mass index is the more the body is unfit.
